Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026 market leadership
- Develop 5-year technology adoption roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype future solutions
- Present visionary technology briefings to C-suite executives and boards with ROI projections and risk assessments
- Build and nurture partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global tech consortia
- Anticipate societal and ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation frameworks
- Drive internal culture of technological foresight through workshops and thought leadership initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Strategy; PhD or MBA preferred
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology commercialization
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to synthesize complex technical and business implications
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience influencing C-suite decisions
- Published thought leadership in tech journals (e.g., Nature Futures, IEEE Spectrum) or equivalent impact
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
