Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and Web3 capabilities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies with 18-24 month horizons
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decisions
- Partner with product teams to translate future-vision into actionable development priorities
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build and lead an elite Future Technologies task force of external experts and internal pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech development
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 3+ year planning horizons
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or neurotech
- Executive-level communication skills with experience presenting complex technical concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams and budgets >$3M
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Fluency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Porter's Five Forces, SWOT, Scenario Planning)
