Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations in quantum computing, AI governance, and Web3
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies through partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Translate complex technical concepts into strategic business recommendations for executive leadership
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present technology strategies to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and technology evangelists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years focused on emerging technologies
- Proven experience developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, generative AI, blockchain, or biotech
- Strong background in technology forecasting and scenario planning methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Track record of launching innovative products or services in tech-forward industries
- Experience managing R&D budgets over $5M
