Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and Web3 ecosystems
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptions
- Conduct due diligence on emerging technologies through vendor evaluations and pilot programs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Manage cross-functional innovation initiatives with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Build and maintain relationships with venture capital firms, startups, and research institutions
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory impacts on technology adoption and strategy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or venture capital
- Proven track record of successfully implementing emerging tech solutions
- Expertise in at least three of: generative AI, decentralized systems, advanced robotics, or synthetic biology
- Executive-level presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, business, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy publications
- Experience managing budgets exceeding $10M for R&D initiatives
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
