Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum AI integration and human augmentation
- Lead moonshot projects in climate-positive nanotechnology and decentralized AI networks
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies
- Build and mentor a diverse team of futurists and domain specialists
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through compelling investment narratives
- Monitor global tech policy shifts to position Nexus at regulatory frontiers
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Bioengineering, or Quantum Physics
- 10+ years in emerging tech strategy with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$100M market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Fluency in scenario planning frameworks and futures forecasting methodologies
- Experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes in emerging sectors
