Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for strategic implementation opportunities
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-generation solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups for innovation sourcing
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
- Drive innovation workshops and hackathons to foster creative problem-solving
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends and developing future-focused roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and complex technology projects
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Certification in emerging technologies (e.g., TensorFlow, AWS AI/ML) preferred
