Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate them into patentable innovations
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into business strategy
- Manage $15M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-driven execution
- Present findings to global stakeholders at industry summits
- Mentor next-gen engineers through our Future Tech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Quantum Physics
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech, or quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or major tech conferences
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) and private venture capital
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
