Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and assess their strategic relevance to our 2026 business objectives
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons, prioritizing innovations based on market readiness and competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional teams in evaluating and piloting emerging technologies through proof-of-concept projects
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership and board members with clear ROI projections
- Establish KPIs to measure technology adoption success and drive continuous improvement in innovation processes
- Monitor global tech trends, regulatory changes, and ethical implications to inform strategic decisions
- Build partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to accelerate technology adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging technology roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of successfully implementing disruptive technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field required
- Certifications in technology management (e.g., TOGAF, CSTM) or emerging tech (e.g., AWS ML, Google AI) preferred
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and business information
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing strategic technology investments
- Strong network within global technology innovation communities and venture capital ecosystem
