Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap integrating quantum, AI, and synthetic biology
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives with 15+ global research institutions
- Translate emerging scientific concepts into market-ready product blueprints
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget and manage vendor ecosystems
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor 5-person innovation lab in rapid prototyping and patent strategy
- Anticipate regulatory shifts in emerging tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering
- 8+ years in tech strategy with 3+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record commercializing frontier technologies
- Deep expertise in AI ethics frameworks and quantum computing
- Exceptional stakeholder management across C-suite to academia
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
