Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-year technology roadmaps for quantum AI integration, decentralized networks, and neuro-interfaces
- Lead cross-functional 'Horizon Scanning' initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market potential
- Architect strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Translate complex technical concepts into executable business plans for executive stakeholders
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with $2M+ annual innovation budget
- Present strategic briefings to board members and external investors quarterly
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing architectures and ethical tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven experience in emerging tech commercialization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI safety, synthetic biology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Track record of launching technology products with $10M+ ARR impact
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent strategic planning
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks and competitive analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to secure $5M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
