Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps integrating AI, quantum, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with frontier research labs (MIT, CERN, etc.)
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural augmentation
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members with actionable insights
- Manage $50M+ R&D budget for experimental technology incubation
- Author thought leadership pieces on technology singularity preparedness
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record in scaling exponential technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical AI and responsible innovation principles
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $20M
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, etc.)
- Global network connections across academia and industry innovation hubs
