Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmap for AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives in sustainable tech and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Partner with C-suite to align innovation strategy with ESG and UN SDG frameworks
- Present future-vision briefings to investors, regulators, and industry consortia
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Mentor emerging technologists in future-proof skill development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in quantum computing, AI ethics, or sustainable systems design
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics preferred
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and technology forecasting methodologies
- Experience securing grants from DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation agencies
