Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and company vision
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board and investors
- Build partnerships with research institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts
- Drive internal innovation workshops and hackathons
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget and resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in emerging tech specialization
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or sustainable tech
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (MBA preferred)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., SWOT, Porter's Five Forces)
