Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype emerging technologies (AI agents, quantum-resistant cryptography, biocomputing)
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive threats/opportunities in AI governance, climate tech, and neuro-interfaces
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration models
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify and acquire transformative startups
- Present strategic briefings to board members and industry consortiums
- Mentor technical teams in future-proofing architectures against technological singularity risks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies (demonstrated via patents or acquisitions)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic engineering, synthetic biology, or AI safety
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on digital transformation
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering preferred
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier tech conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
