Responsibilities

- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, AR/VR, quantum computing) and assess commercial viability
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-tech solutions into customer-facing platforms
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven impact projections
- Establish innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping and pilot testing of futuristic concepts
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech deployment strategies
- Lead cross-functional task forces on ethics and governance of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of launching future-facing initiatives with measurable ROI
- Expertise in exponential technologies and their market disruption potential
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFTE, APF)
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
