Responsibilities

- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, AI ethics) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record launching future-facing tech products
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, bio-AI, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Experience with agile development in research environments
- Exceptional data-driven decision-making abilities
