- Lead cross-functional teams of researchers, engineers, and designers in prototyping future systems
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for R&D collaboration
- Present strategic visions to C-suite executives and investors with data-driven recommendations
- Oversee implementation of ethical frameworks for next-gen technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech sectors
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Strong network with Silicon Valley tech leaders and academic institutions
