Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and technology forecasting to identify disruptive innovations through 2026
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify strategic positioning opportunities
- Present technology strategy recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate emerging technologies
- Manage innovation portfolio prioritization and resource allocation
- Build external partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for technology adoption success
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, corporate innovation, or R&D leadership
- Proven experience developing and implementing 5-year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication abilities
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $5M annually
