Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, climate tech) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts to prototype future-facing solutions
- Develop comprehensive innovation frameworks that balance technological feasibility with market viability
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate R&D
- Create forward-looking product roadmaps aligned with 2026+ technological projections
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Champion ethical innovation practices and responsible technology development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or emerging tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least three disruptive technology products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, artificial general intelligence, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of technology convergence patterns and exponential growth dynamics
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping in complex systems
