Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and quantum startups
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with ethical impact assessments
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technologies
- Coordinate with global policy teams on regulatory frameworks for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or generative AI
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with technology ethics frameworks and responsible innovation
- Strong network within DARPA, IARPA, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
- Certification in futures forecasting (e.g., from Foresight Institute)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Q#, Qiskit)
