Responsibilities
- Analyze and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop cross-technology roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and ESG frameworks
- Lead strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation hubs
- Translate technical capabilities into commercial opportunities and product blueprints
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members for investment decisions
- Manage innovation incubation programs for breakthrough technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for regulatory and ethical implications of emerging tech
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business with technology focus
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical AI frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
