Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing)
- Conduct competitive analysis of emerging tech patents and academic breakthroughs
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Author thought leadership pieces published in Nature/IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in tech strategy with proven impact on 3+ major product launches
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (minimum 5 citations)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Experience securing SBIR grants or venture capital for R&D projects
- Portfolio showcasing 2+ technologies commercialized at scale
- Certification in AI Ethics (IEEE or ACM preferred)
