Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems)
- Secure strategic partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board members
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Pioneer ethical frameworks for next-generation technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy with 3+ years in future-tech forecasting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products valued at $100M+
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants or corporate R&D partnerships
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TFM) or equivalent methodology
- Prior experience scaling innovation from lab to market
