Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology adoption roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Present strategic technology briefings to C-suite and board members with actionable insights
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio including startups, R&D partnerships, and pilot programs
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at global tech summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching tech-driven products with $100M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Experience developing 3-5 year technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong network within global tech innovation ecosystems (Silicon Valley, Shenzhen, Berlin)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
