Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, sustainable energy) and assess commercial viability for 2026 market readiness
- Develop strategic implementation roadmaps for integrating future technologies into existing product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Conduct competitive analysis and identify disruptive threats/opportunities in emerging tech landscapes
- Build partnerships with research institutions, startups, and technology incubators
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of experimental prototyping
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership role
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 disruptive technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech/sustainable tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization projects
