Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics frameworks, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and research teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and startups in emerging tech ecosystems
- Define KPIs and success metrics for technology adoption initiatives
- Author thought leadership content on future tech trends and their business implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and influencing technology investment decisions
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystems
