Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, blockchain, AR/VR) and their industry-specific applications through 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Monitor competitive landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Drive innovation culture through thought leadership and industry speaking engagements
- Manage $5M+ R&D budgets for future technology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products or platforms
- Expertise in at least three emerging technologies (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Executive-level communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience with agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
