Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, biotech) aligned with market demands
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and Fortune 500 R&D labs
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for emerging sectors
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Design ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and automation systems
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through grant proposals and venture partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching commercialized innovations
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering (PhD preferred)
- Experience with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing C-level audiences
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, R, or similar)
