Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage $15M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI and risk assessment frameworks
- Establish industry partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Mentor technical talent and foster a culture of radical experimentation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or autonomous systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience scaling R&D teams from 5 to 50+ professionals
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for next-gen technologies
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Track record of securing multi-million dollar government/private grants
