Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum AI integration and carbon-negative computing systems
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Secure and manage partnerships with NASA, DARPA, and global tech accelerators
- Prototype and validate next-gen technologies in our Austin Innovation Lab
- Mentor a team of 8 PhD researchers and specialized engineers
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Drive open-source contributions to global tech standards bodies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI Systems, or related field with 10+ years R&D leadership
- Published research in Nature/Science with 50+ citations in emerging tech
- Proven track record of scaling lab innovations to commercial deployment
- Expertise in federated learning, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized networks
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/VC funding for tech initiatives
- Active contributor to IEEE 2026 technology standards committees
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
