Responsibilities
- Lead strategic roadmap development for emerging technologies (2026+ horizon)
- Direct cross-functional R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotech
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech innovation with business objectives
- Drive sustainable technology adoption and carbon-neutral innovation programs
- Mentor senior engineers and foster a culture of radical innovation
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic investor relations
- Represent company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record scaling R&D teams and managing $5M+ budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Published research or patents in next-generation technologies
- Exceptional strategic planning and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with international regulatory frameworks for emerging tech
- Fluency in English and proficiency in Mandarin or German preferred
