Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the company's long-term technological vision and the detailed roadmap leading up to and through 2026.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Quantum Computing, Autonomous Systems) and assess their potential impact on the business.
- Lead high-level R&D initiatives and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to integrate future-proof solutions.
- Monitor global tech trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory shifts to inform agile strategic decision-making.
- Present complex technical strategies to the C-suite and executive board to secure buy-in and necessary resources.
- Mentor senior leaders and foster a culture of innovation, foresight, and continuous learning across departments.
- Measure the success of strategic initiatives and adjust the roadmap based on performance data and market feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, technology consulting, or executive leadership roles within a fast-paced tech environment.
- Proven track record of defining successful long-term technology roadmaps and executing on complex strategic initiatives.
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their practical applications in solving enterprise-level business problems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, forecast future market scenarios, and mitigate risks.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical jargon into clear, compelling business value propositions.
- Relevant advanced degree (MBA, MS in Technology Management, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
- Experience working with diverse cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
