Responsibilities
- Holistic Horizon Scanning: Continuously monitor global tech ecosystems to identify emerging trends, breakthroughs in AI, Quantum Computing, and biotechnology that will reach maturity by 2026.
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop detailed long-term strategic roadmaps that align corporate capabilities with the anticipated technological shifts of 2026 and beyond.
- Scenario Planning: Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops to help stakeholders visualize potential futures and prepare adaptive business strategies.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with technical teams and external partners to evaluate prototype viability and integrate forward-looking technologies into core products.
- Executive Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, translating complex future trends into actionable business insights and investment opportunities.
- Thought Leadership: Author white papers, speaking engagements, and internal memos that establish Nexus Horizon Solutions as the authority on the 2026 tech landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field. PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technology strategy, consulting, or R&D management, with a proven track record of forecasting future trends.
- Tech Proficiency: Deep understanding of emerging technologies including Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Sustainable Tech.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to synthesize vast amounts of data into clear, strategic narratives and actionable recommendations.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing high-level decision-making processes.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
