Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Collaborate with VCs, startups, and academic institutions to identify acquisition targets
- Present futuristic visions to C-suite and board members with data-driven scenarios
- Mentor a team of futurists, data scientists, and prototype engineers
- Ensure all innovations adhere to ethical sustainability frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year forecasting success
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, bioinformatics, etc.)
- Published thought leadership on future tech trends (IEEE, Nature, etc.)
- Track record of scaling innovations from concept to commercialization
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
