Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026 product launches in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze global tech trends to develop 5-year strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype disruptive solutions with 18-24 month deployment horizons
- Present technology forecasts and risk assessments to executive stakeholders and investors
- Drive innovation through patent development and open-source contributions
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact on product roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum computing, or neurotech applications
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies (IEEE/ACM preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
