Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum AI, biotech integration, neural interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed impact projections
- Manage $5M+ R&D portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Foster strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Establish ethical frameworks for responsible technology deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or climate tech
- Executive-level communication with ability to translate complex concepts
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting
- Experience managing distributed innovation teams across 3+ time zones
