- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to position company for future tech disruptions
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes for emerging technologies with engineering teams
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to stay ahead of innovation curves
- Manage innovation budget and ROI tracking for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching innovative products with measurable market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical information
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certifications in emerging technologies (e.g., AWS Machine Learning, Google AI) preferred
