- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure $10M+ annual R&D budget for future-tech initiatives
- Pioneer industry partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global innovation labs
- Present strategic vision to investors and board members at quarterly innovation summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 3+ years in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with $5M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and patent landscape analysis
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills across executive, technical, and investor audiences
