Responsibilities
- Design and execute 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype technologies for quantum computing, AI neural networks, and biotech integration
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (metaverse, Web4, climate tech) to identify commercialization opportunities
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Oversee R&D budget allocation and patent strategy for futuristic innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, climate tech, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Certification in Technology Strategy from MIT or Stanford (or equivalent)
