- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Collaborate with C-suite to secure $50M+ innovation budget and allocate resources across emerging verticals
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Present quarterly technology roadmaps to stakeholders with ROI projections
- Mentor a team of 15+ engineers and researchers in emerging tech domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of scaling tech initiatives from concept to commercial launch
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, advanced robotics)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to boards and investors
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech journals or industry conferences
- Experience managing $30M+ innovation budgets and P&L
