Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate breakthrough technologies with 18-month commercialization cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs for emerging tech R&D
- Develop patent portfolios covering AI ethics, sustainable computing, and human-machine symbiosis
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and board members for $500M+ investment decisions
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for complex system development
- Analyze global tech policy shifts to inform compliance and opportunity strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neural networks, or sustainable computing
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+ preferred)
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature/Science/IEEE) or equivalent industry impact
- Security clearance eligibility or existing clearance for classified projects
