Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technology adoption curves
- Develop strategic frameworks for quantum-AI hybrid systems and ethical AI governance
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify breakthrough startups for acquisition
- Present technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Author whitepapers on sustainable tech transitions and digital twin infrastructure
- Mentor junior researchers in speculative technology prototyping
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Quantum Engineering, or Futuristics
- 5+ years in R&D leadership at FAANG or equivalent tech innovator
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing algorithms and neural-symbolic AI
- Deep understanding of tech ethics frameworks (IEEE, EU AI Act)
- Portfolio of 3+ commercialized futuristic technologies
- Top-tier security clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
