Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 innovation horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech sectors
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Author strategic white papers and executive briefings on disruptive technology impacts
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Quantify ROI projections for emerging technology investments
- Advise leadership on ethical implications and societal impacts of technological advancement
- Mentor innovation teams in strategic thinking and future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-focused technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management capabilities
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience working with futures research methodologies and scenario planning
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
