Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, Web3)
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough innovations and assess commercial viability
- Collaborate with C-suite to align tech strategy with business growth objectives
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation impact and ROI for futuristic initiatives
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and investment committees
- Mentor junior talent in emerging technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in emerging tech trends (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., CDIO, CTO Academy) preferred
- Experience with agile methodologies and rapid prototyping
