Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum computing, AI ethics, etc.)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research for next-gen tech adoption
- Forge strategic partnerships with research labs and innovation hubs
- Present technology vision to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and R&D initiatives
- Oversee patent strategy for emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ in executive leadership
- Proven track record in scaling innovative products to $100M+ ARR
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Strong network with Silicon Valley VCs and research institutions
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
