Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech) into core products
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Present technology strategies to investors, boards, and industry consortiums
- Establish innovation KPIs and track progress against future-state technology adoption curves
- Drive partnerships with research institutions (MIT, Stanford, etc.) for co-development initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AGI, neuromorphic chips, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or equivalent tier-1 journals
- Proven track record of launching technology products with 7-figure revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Deep familiarity with technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level stakeholder management
