- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging tech trends (Web4.0, biocomputing, decentralized systems)
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and investors on future market opportunities
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs for R&D acceleration
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies to ensure responsible deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging tech (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Proven track record of launching future-oriented products or services
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies preferred
- Experience with agile development for long-term vision projects
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystems
