Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Roadmap: Collaborate with C-suite executives to identify emerging technologies and define a strategic vision that positions Nexus as a market leader by 2026.
- Pilot Emerging Tech: Spearhead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for next-generation technologies, including Generative AI, Edge Computing, and advanced AR/VR interfaces.
- Strategic Planning: Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate future-proof solutions into our existing product ecosystems, ensuring scalability and long-term viability.
- Investment & R&D Oversight: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to recommend high-impact R&D investments that align with our five-year strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives for investors, board members, and technical teams.
- Build Future-Ready Teams: Recruit and mentor top-tier talent in futuristic tech domains, fostering a culture of continuous innovation.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 8+ years of experience in IT strategy, digital transformation, or technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of forward-thinking planning.
- Emerging Tech Expertise: Deep understanding of the technology landscape leading up to 2026, specifically in AI integration, Blockchain, or IoT ecosystems.
- Executive Presence: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-year technology initiatives and R&D projects.
- Adaptability: A strong aptitude for navigating uncertainty and pivoting strategies based on rapid technological advancements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
