Role Overview
As our Future Tech Lead, you will be responsible for scouting emerging technologies, analyzing their potential impact on our business, and leading the integration of these innovations into our long-term roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define the comprehensive technology roadmap for 2026, identifying key technological shifts and trends that will impact our industry.
- Innovation Scouting: Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, Blockchain, Quantum Computing) to assess their viability for our product suite.
- R&D Leadership: Oversee and guide internal R&D initiatives focused on experimental technologies to ensure a pipeline of future-proof solutions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Vendor Assessment: Evaluate external technology partners and vendors to ensure they align with our 2026 vision and quality standards.
- Competitive Analysis: Analyze competitor technology stacks and strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or strategic technology roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of successfully defining long-term technology strategies and leading cross-functional teams to execute them.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern software development lifecycles, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), and emerging tech stacks.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and executives.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous problems and navigate uncertainty.
