- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually for experimental projects
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for breakthrough innovations
- Present technological visions to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior talent in emerging technology adoption methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in strategic leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in agile development, rapid prototyping, and lean innovation
- Deep knowledge of Gartner Hype Cycle and technology adoption frameworks
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published research or patents in at least one emerging technology domain
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 50+ members
